Parent Teacher Association

The PTA has been set up to raise funds for activities and equipment for all our pupils to enjoy. All parents and guardians of the school are automatically PTA members. You can contact us with ideas and suggestions here pta@wlfs.org.

Find out more about the aims and objectives of the WLFS PTA by reading the constitution here.

Lots of ideas for social events and fundraising initiatives have emerged throughout our first year, so please put these dates in your diary and keep refering back to this webpage for updates.

Volunteers for forthcoming events and donations to the auction in the autumn term are always welcome!

Please come to the next meeting.

 > Other ongoing fundraising initiatives:

You and your family and friends can start raising funds (at no extra cost to you) for the WLFS right now:

Here's how:

  • Online shopping via the easyfundraising website:

Firstly, register for free at easyfundraising.org.uk as a supporter and nominate the West London Free School as your cause from the list. All retailers listed will give a percentage of your spend to the WLFS PTA - with no extra cost to you!

When you have registered, you're ready to shop and raise money. Simply chose the online retailer or search for the product you want, then shop as you would normally. After a purchase, easyfundraising will send you an email telling you how much you have raised and pass the donation to the WLFS PTA. The purchase itself will be dealt with by the retailer as normal.

Please make it a habit: Try to remind yourself to go through the site when you shop online or, better still, use the new easyreminder Find&Remind add-on, and please also tell your friends, relatives and colleagues. Think birthdays, seasonal shopping (Easter/Christmas), holidays/flights and large purchases – but also continuous small purchases (e.g. books, office supplies/stationary, sports items etc).

  • We are a registered cause with easy2name.com (useful labels and names stickers for uniform items) - please nominate the WLFS at the check-out stage.
  • The school has an onsite TRAID container for the recycling of old clothes and shoes.
  • Unfortunately, the

SupportYourSchools scheme for used ink cartridges and old mobile phones has ceased trading. We will try and find a replacement. Please check back here for updates.

  • We are also registered with Tesco's, Sainsbury's and (Nestle's) Box Tops for Books, so please keep collecting.
