Earls Court Primary school opening in 2014

The West London Free School Academy Trust plans to open a second primary school in September 2014. Its permanent home will be in Earls Court at the heart of the new Earls Court development, but it will initially share the site of the West London Free School Primary in Hammersmith. It will offer the same classical liberal education as our current secondary school and the plan is to link the two, so any child at the primary will be given priority when applying to our secondary. The sibling policy will also apply, so siblings of children at the primary will be eligible for places in Year 7 at the secondary when they're old enough.

The primary will open with one Reception class of 30 pupils in 2014 and continue to admit 30 children each year until July 2018. At that point, it will relocate to its permanent home in Earls Court and become a two-form entry school, admitting 60 children in Reception and an additional 30 children in Years 1, 2, 3 and 4. In this way, it will be able to accommodate the demand for primary school places for children of various ages from families living in the new Earls Court development, subject to planning and legal agreements.

If you're interested in applying for a place in Reception in 2014 or 2015, please fill out this expression-of-interest form. Once we have your details on file, we will keep you abreast of our progress and notify you when we've organised some open days. We will also let you know when the time comes to apply and send you a link to the electronic application form.

Please note that the relevant geographical point for admissions purposes from 2014 onwards will be the school's permanent home in Earls Court, not the school's temporary home in Hammersmith. The Council will lay on a special bus service from Earls Court to Hammersmith (and back) each day to enable your child to get to and from the school.
